Job description
The Project Engineer (Electrical) will be responsible for the electrical maintenance in Robust Project Management.
Functional area: Supply Chain / Engineering Department.
Responsibilities
* Provide technical inputs to company capital project proposals and ensure they meet HSE standards
* Ensure that all the company’s Capital projects are completed within schedule, quality and cost limits and OTIF
* Ensure project compliance with standards and acceptable electrical specification across site in line with Group equipment specification.
* Participate in preparation of brief, project planning schedules, weekly Project milestone/report update commissioning and start up operations of new Projects and interpreting the company requirement into technical proposal.
* Manage contractors and third party services providers
* Manage safety and environment in the team and ensure compliance.
* Coordinate, coach and develop subordinates in line with Group capability building strategy.
* As necessary and directed to assist Engineering Manager on Engineering procurement and installation of Capital projects.
Qualifications and Experience for Recruitment
* A B.Sc degree or HND compulsorily with a Masters degree in Engineering.
* Similar Experience as a Project engineer.
* Minimum of 3 – 5 years work experience in a similar role.
* Ensure implementation of TPM and must be good at Inventory management.
* Experience in Project Management.
* Possess good knowledge of Electrical Standards such as IEE and ASEE.
* Must be able to use Microsoft project, power point software and other general computer software.
* Ability to work without supervision
* Must be able to manage people.
* Have experience in Plant Operation.
* Must possess demonstrable and measurable success in a similar role
* Must possess all skills required in this profession

- Monitoring of staff advances and inform payroll of long outstanding cash advances for recovery from staff salaries
- Cary out Bank reconciliation, investigate and clear all outstanding Items
- Review of Bank charges & Correspondence with Banks on refunds
- Prepare financial reports, schedules and proof of relevant accounts in the general Ledger.
- Prepare schedule of outstanding payments on daily basis and seek approval for payment.
- Raise requisition on Oracle for necessary approvals
