JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Assist in the investigation and resolution of fraud incidents, allegations of corruption and breaches in conformance with documented policies and procedures
• Develop periodic reports on forensic audit incidents, investigations and outcomes as may be required by the Senior Forensic Auditor
• Ensure that all fraudulent activities/allegation of corruption/breaches reported through all reporting channels to the Unit are fully documented and investigated where necessary
• Plan, perform, analyze and report on outcomes of investigations.
• Assist in recommending system and process improvements based on the outcome of various investigations conducted
• Provide constant feedback to internal stakeholders through the Senior Forensic Auditor on reported incidences which require investigation
• Liaise with internal (Human Resources, Legal, Security, Subscriber Fraud Unit, etc) and external (Law enforcement agencies) stakeholders as required

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Liaise with several Law Enforcement Agencies on investigations of frauds

• Advise internal stakeholders on Government regulations and anti-frauds standards
• Promote fraud awareness across MTN

Influencing, guiding and supporting the Zonal Heads and other Stakeholders in the operationalisation and delivery of strategic objectives and goals

Shared accountability with Zones and Business Centre Heads for relevant segment financial performance

Monitor monthly financial performance at segment, provincial and business centre level and influence the closure of performance gaps

Lending and risk management
Facilitate a sound working partnership between PBB Business Credit and relevant Zonal stakeholders to stimulate business growth without compromising risk and quality of lending.
Arbitrate and/or motivate credit decisions in need (in absence or at request of Director, Business Banking) and assist management to explore alternatives.
Represent business at BAC committee sessions and other relevant credit forums
Ensure that Credit support (evaluation, collateral, compliance) is optimally aligned to business needs and that turnaround time SLA’s are met to ensure consistent customer experience
Influence the continuous improvement of credit processes.
Influence the review of risk appetite to align with market opportunities and trends
Legislative compliance and risk management
Influence the development/review of the segment business Audit Review process for business centres and ensure consistent implementation of audit recommendations nationally.
General Business Support
Act as the main interface/facilitator between the Zones/business centres and the head office areas relating to the relevant segments
Assist the network in resolving general business queries requiring head office engagement/intervention
Act as conduit/gatekeeper of any head office communication relating to the relevant segment
Represent on all head office meetings requiring input/feedback from the relevant business segment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Relevant business related tertiary qualification. Minimum of a 2.2 B.Sc. degree is a pre-requisite
Relevant post-graduate studies will be a definite advantage

Degree plus approximately 8-10 years’ general banking experience of which 3-5 years should have been in a relevant leadership role within the business markets
Sound experience and knowledge in Credit and Compliance matters.
Experience in dealing with Business Customers at all levels.
Significant people management experience – leading teams and motivating people.
Advanced product knowledge including specialised products and financial structures.
Experience in negotiation skills and conflict handling.

Nigerian Bottling Company Plc is one of the few multinational organizations that had its beginnings in Nigeria. From a small family owned operation at inception, we have grown to become the predominant bottler of alcohol-free beverages in Nigeria, responsible for the manufacture and sale of over 33 different Coca-Cola brands. The Nigerian Bottling Company Plc (NBC) was incorporated in November 1951, as a subsidiary of the A.G. Leventis Group with the franchise to bottle and sell Coca-Cola products in Nigeria.

Production began in 1953 at a bottling facility in Ebute-Metta, Lagos. Over the years production capacity has grown and it presently has 13 bottling facilities and over 80 distribution warehouses located across the country. Since production started, NBC Plc has remained the largest bottler of non-alcoholic beverages in the country in terms of sales volume, with about 1.8 billion bottles sold per year, making it the second largest market in Africa. Today, we are a part of the Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling company (Coca-Cola Hellenic), one of The Coca-Cola Company’s largest anchor bottlers worldwide. Coca-Cola Hellenic operates in 28 countries, serves more than 560 million consumers and with 2.1 billion unit cases sales in 2009.
